Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2, 2026

The short version: SKJ APPS keeps your data on your Mac. Our apps have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers, and this website has none either. This policy explains what data the website and our apps touch, and what — if anything — ever leaves your Mac. Each app’s own privacy page carries the specifics for that app.

This website

skjapps.com is a static site. It uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no JavaScript that profiles you. Browsing this site does not collect personal information about you, and we do not build a profile of your visit. If you email us, we receive what you send so we can reply — nothing more.

Data our apps keep on your Mac

Each app stores its settings and your data locally, in your user Library’s Application Support folder (for example, ~/Library/Application Support/<App>/). This is your configuration and content for that app. These files never leave your Mac and are not sent to us or anyone else.

To do their jobs, our apps use macOS permissions — such as Accessibility, and, for some apps, Screen Recording or Calendar. Everything those permissions enable is processed on your device only; nothing captured through them is transmitted, uploaded, or stored off your Mac. You can grant or revoke each permission at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security. See an app’s own privacy page for exactly which permissions it uses and why.

When an app connects to the internet

Our apps make network connections in only two situations, both of which you control:

Our apps do not use analytics SDKs, advertising, tracking cookies, or crash-reporting services, and they do not require you to create an account.

Purchases and payments

When you buy an app, the purchase is processed by a third-party payment provider that acts as the Merchant of Record. That provider collects the information needed to process your payment (such as billing details) and handles billing, tax, and license issuance under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment-card details. We do receive order and license records — such as your email and the fact of your purchase — so we can deliver your license and provide support.

Bug reports

If you use an app’s “Report a Bug” option, it pre-fills an email to us that includes basic diagnostics — such as the app version, your macOS version, device architecture, and which permissions are granted — and nothing else. The email is composed in your own mail app, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.

Data retention and deletion

Because your app data lives only on your Mac, you can remove it by deleting the app and its ~/Library/Application Support/<App>/ folder. We do not hold a copy to delete on your behalf. Order and license records held by us or our payment provider are retained as needed for support, tax, and legal purposes.

Children

Our apps are productivity tools not directed to children and do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our apps and business evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
